Should I be feeding my month old kids sweet feed? Is is necessary or can they do well on just milk, hay, and browsing? Also, how much feed should I feed my nubian/pygmy doe in milk? I haven't milked her yet, still waiting for my milk stand to get built.

I used a baby wipe to clean the doelings rear end. Just had it on there to show what it looked like.

I did a search online and could't find anything about worm bloom. What is it and how can you tell by looking at them? I know what worms are, but not sure what the bloom is. Is it something to do with their udder?

Whew....that's great news! Now I can rest better. I milked my doe this morning and a little bit this evening (enough to put in a bottle). Milking has been pretty easy so far. Thanks so much for answering my questions :)

Thanks for the link to the pygmy's. They are super cute :) After seeing that I can say that the buck she was bred to was in fact, not a pygmy. The buck was at least a couple of inches taller than mine. I think that I have received some pretty good feedback here. Thanks again!

Wow, her teats are huge! I didn't realize they were normally that large. I guess when I compare my goats to hers, my goats are itty bitty. Must be super easy milking Smore's. She is cute :)

She is 23" tall and her face is a little crooked. I don't mind though because she is sooo cute and is only a family pet. I think she will kid in the next couple of weeks.

Excuse the shavings... Need better picture of her belly,but thought it would be nice if you were able to see her as a whole, besides her backside, lol!
