New Nigi doe-my does won't stop butting her

I put a piece of plywood in there close to the wall so the little one could fit but the other two cant ram her from the side. It is open on each end so she will be able to get out if needed. I closed the door after it got dark and have been going out and quietly listening to hear if there is...

New Nigi doe-my does won't stop butting her

Due to circumstances beyond their control my neice and her DH need to have their lone Nigerian doe stay at our home with my 2 Pgymy/Nigi mutt does for a few months. My winter set-up is small. A 4 x 8 ft shed with a 20 ft square yard accessable all day then at night I close the girls inside the...

    Nigi's jumping a 4" fence!

Yesterday I saw an ad on CL for 6 ft high 400 ft of no-climb horse fence. I drove right out and picked it up. The fence was 2 yrs old, looks perfect and the gentleman loaded it onto my truck with a loader. All for $200. It is a little taller than I originally wanted but I am thinking safer...

    Nigi's jumping a 4" fence!

Our 2 little angelic doe's have figured out that they can easily jump a 4 foot high fence. Cannot believe it! The are small, only up to my knee and they "BOING" right over. I am planning on putting up 5 ft no-climb horse fence in their new pasture. Any one have any other suggestions to keep...

Offered free does - will it work?

Well, the two doelings we have have escaped out of the field fencing I put up to give them extra room. I locked them and, turned around and they climbed right through the fence! Looked at me like "Ma, I'm here". Brother, they are mischevious! Love them though. Told my friend that we are...

    Lost my litter.

Sorry about your losses. I had a hen that could brood eggs with 100% hatche rate then she squished all that hatched. Now I take them away as soon as they hatch. If I couldn't she would have soup too.

    3ft. of snow here!

We have about 14" or so but with the wind some places have a dusting and others are blown into 3' drifts. Our goats and chickies are in to stay. They will not go out which is fine, too stinkin much snow. My DD and I went out and snow raked the roof, shoveled the walkways, some plowing.
