Tanny had a boy and girl!!!

Moana had triplets. All boys. Will be bottle feeding 1 then. She will not have enough for 3.

We lost Riley yesterday morning.

Adele had triplets Sunday. 1 boy 2 girls. Riley had 2 this morning. 1 girl and 1 boy. Boy was dead.

Naomi had 2 boys today.

They should have been eating grain sence 3 weeks old-4 weeks old. I wait till 9 weeks old to start weaning so at 10 weeks old they are full off mom and can go to new homes. I even do it for the ones I keep. I feel it helps them grow better.

They will always act like they don't have enough grain. Lol. You will want to cut out all alfalfa. Alfalfa hay will make them still produce milk. If they are dairy goats you can wean kids off and keep milk till about 1-2 months before kidding.

I am at day 145 with a couple of my does in the next group to kid. I will get pictures of the kids from the first group today.

When weaning kids I wait till they are 10 weeks old. Stop feeding grain to moms limit water and feed grass hay not alfalfa. Some does will dry up in a week and some take little longer.

When I deworm kids for the first time I use safeguard for goats. I worm around 9/10 weeks old. I don't deworm much. I always check fermacha color before I deworm anyone.

I have 5 more does due from March 22nd-27th. 4 Boers and 1 Nubian. And hoping 2 of my other Nubians due in June.

We have white and light brown babies. Cant wait to see if they get any other colors when they get bigger. They are so cute.
