I had read that Toggenburgs could have strong milk, but ours is very much like bought milk, but more cream (we tend to buy half fat milk)

strangely enough, just today I was trying to make friends with my little ones, then one came and was sniffing round my face and mouth, later she come to me much better than she had ever done, I'll work on the other 2 now:)

congrats - lovely babies - and they look big babies, did she manage OK on her own. I suppose they were only shivering after coming from a nice warm world into the cold and being wet wouldn't help

I have 2 Toggenburgs. the fence is 1M high, with a single strand of electric fence about 12-18" in front of it. It was heartbreaking the first time they each touched the strand, and one didn't realise it was the same wire in front of her favourite shrub, but now they just eye it suspiciously and...

Hi maybe unusual, but in many poultry books there are pictures of various stages of development of the chick in the egg. being curious to know what stage my girls babies are at (hopefully!) does anyone know where I can find any pics of the developing babies? They should be 2month gone

I once read an article on only shoeing the fore, as it is the fore which takes the 'hammer', seemed to make sense, what do you think?
