    hello from Mississippi

Thank you hilarie for that very informative reply! Your feeding routine sounds more like what I imagined when I first started dreaming of goats. I guess it is the salt, mineral block, sweetlix? Red cell? Molasses (and I still havent found out what DM is yet) that throws me off and confuses a...

    share pictures of shelter

My husband and I have built a chicken coop made from recycled pallets. I plan on making a goat shelter (for 3 dwarf goats) - which seems even easier.I hope! Anyone want to give me some inspiration with pictures of their shelter? Much appreciated!

    Progress on Fence & Shelter

I'm just dropping in to see how other members build their shelters. Yours is very cute! Good job. I will keep the red paint in mind when designing mine - looks like a mini barn.

great information guys! I have googled nightshade and ive never seen that. And roddonendrons (lol thats a mouth full) are gorgeous.. No, none of that on my property. My stuff is all green except the wisteria. Can I just snap some pictures and share with you guys? Or is there a better place...

Thank you. I am almost positive we won't eat our goats. We will become too attached. So Nigerian Dwarfs it is! That answers that!

    hello from Mississippi

Thank you so much. I am thrilled to be here. I am a little overwhelmed just reading all the different things they eat! And oh boy.. how do I know what bushes on my property could be poisonous? I'm not sure what plant life is growing but I have a lot of trees. Soooo much research to be done...

I am very interested in getting a couple small goats for milking/pets. My husband is a juvenile diabetic and we think the milk will be easier on his...
