Welp, that didn't go as planned. Which is basically the story of my life. Po found a small gap and exploited it. Ended up on the back deck. We thought we found the right spot, got it secure and went back in. Not 10 minutes later all three were on the back deck. Goat round up ensued with use...

So.... moving day for the goats. Back to the 50x100 area we initially planned but this time the bottom of the chainlink has been covered with corrugated roofing to keep Akira and Tyson from tearing it open again. Po was all kinds of excited and prancing wildly. Dragging the girls over to see the...

So I'm at work after all night of no sleep due to the baying and howling my 3 had to do because the new girl decided to have a nervous breakdown and hide outside refusing to come in overnight. Hubby finally coaxed her out, texts me to let me know 'the 3 stooges like her' and proceeds to blow up...

So this happened today. Took on another basset..... likely to also bark at goats once she de-stresses, chills out and gets used to us. 3.5 years old. Not spayed, came with her papers. Now in a home that has catered to bassets for almost 20 years. O.... M..... G..... I'm crazy.

They are bouncing around between a few of us. Know who they belong to now so they need to be rounded up! About 60-80 lbs not that big

Day 90 of goat ownership..... Just came home. Walked between backyard fencing and goat area fencing. Goats ran over and talked to me. Dogs flew off the deck out of their nap to bark at goats. Mind you, we now have ugly barriers up so dogs can't see goats but alas, I disturbed the dirt and they...

Creepy is more like it *shutter* He's not exactly sneaky. He'll get over it and your lab mate will throw a fit

Yes it can in processes that wash after weaving/braiding. That was the bulk of the industry when I set this up but the more picky device makers are moving towards pre washed or fiber that does use the same gunk to be made... which it is a process now running in the big lab next to where she washes 😉

Afternoon... Had to give up again and make the dogs come in. 45 minutes straight of barking at Mr. Po. My 6 month old wether, who instigates it 9 time out of 10. It's Akira, the oldest basset at 5.5 years. She's just obsessed. Kitty and Tyson, both 4.5 year old basset typically give up after...

So for everyone wanting to know, the lab she works in takes the same fiber used in bullet proof materials (not kevlar) and washes out the processing gunk. The gunk contains cytotoxic materials that reek havoc on biological life. The fiber is then sold as the base material to make braided...

I have begun the downward spiral of goat ownership.......

🤣🤪 Goats will not age me..... getting hubby not to spoil them like all the other critters here is what will age me! Ugh.... I've already pulled Po off the top of the truck, out of the middle of the road, out of a dogs mouth, out of a hole in a chain link fence.... he's just about as rambunctious...
