My husband and I retired from the electronics industry a couple years ago and bought our farm last May. It's a 30 acre farm built in 1915 by the family we bought it from so we are only the second owner. We will be keeping our livestock on the front 10 acres and starting next spring we will have the back 20 acres in hay. We have a deal with a neighbor that we will work the acreage for half the hay. After the first harvest no more buying hay. Our place is just about perfect. The house is a 2 story craftsman style. There are 2 big barns, a big shop, a two car garage, a 1 car garage, a green house, an Ice house, and an outbuilding right by the house I can use for making costumes.
