I have an F1 Mini Saanen doe born in March 2020 and am interested in finding a buck for her in future that is either another mini Saanen or Nigi. She is 17” now may possibly get a little taller. She comes from good milk lines and my hope is to find a buck with strong lines as well and maternal...
Around here we have azaleas galore. My property used to be part of a Tung oil farm, and that plant is highly prolific and toxic. Saplings are constantly springing up and I kill them when I see them, but the goats haven’t eaten them, as far as I’ve seen. Otherwise we have pine trees and the goats...
I picked up this little darling yesterday. I’ve got Myotonic and mini Myotonic and next to them, she looks like a fairy sprite.
She comes from good milk lines and my hope is to learn all about milking and have fun with it. I’d like to have her future kids registered MDGA as she is, but I’m...
I wanted add a few things:

My biggest difficulty with my LGD is he hates riding in a vehicle. It’s a...

I’ve raised, trained and competed with working GSDs so I thought I knew dogs well enough.
He is more like a cat...
Hi
Jorah is nearing 5 months and doing great with my goats and chickens. We’ve had coyotes howling at night, and stray neighbor dogs running the fence (fortunately they can’t get through it) and I decided to bring home Jorah’s litter sister, whom I’ve named Jolie. She also is a wonderful...
You have enough land. It’s more about the predator load than the acreage. The main thing will be proper fencing, to keep the stock and LGD in, and help keep predators out.
If you keyword-search these forums, there’s lots of great information on that as well as LGD breeds, selection and...
This is my newest addition. She’s from registered miniature myotonic parents but has five nipples on her udder so the breeder did not register her. She is the sweetest thing.
