Born this morning. 2 .little girls. First time freshener and I walked out to feed at 7:30 and found 2 babies and no evidence of afterbirth. Mom seems good! I’ve seen one baby latch on but the other doesn’t seem interested. Advice? It’s 3:30 pm and they are alive and seem healthy (other then...
Thought I’d update. Lucky is completely well now. Eating and drinking well. Hopping and playing. Happy and cuddly again!
I’m excited about warmer weather. I am going to build an enclosure for him outside and bring him in at night.
Wanted to let y’all know that Lucky Bunny responded to treatment. He’s eating like crazy again, pooping all over his cage and hopping around like his normal self. I haven’t let him roam the house yet bc he has only been stable on his feet for a day, eating normally for a day and he’s still not...
The Parkinson’s like shaking of the head has almost stopped this morning. He’s eaten on his own a little. His ears have stayed down, except for right after the ear drops were put in. He actually cuddled a little when my husband held him for the syringe feeding and medicine.
I was so scared...
It’s been touch and go with his eating and drinking. Then I noticed some new behaviors. Shaking his head, holding his ears up. And a few nights ago, what appeared to be a seizure. It happened again yesterday morning and I rushed him to the local animal hospital. We are treating him for ear...
He does still groom himself. The biggest change is setting in the litter box for hours. Not eating and drinking like a full grown man, lol. Not running around the house when he’s taken out of his cage. He will hide his head under a blanket. He has lost weight and his pellets are tiny.
He is a house bunny. He lives a cage but runs around the house in the evenings when we are home. He lost an eye a couple of months ago when he was a free range, outdoors bunny. Don’t know if he is neutered. His teeth look good! His gums look good! We have no idea how old he is bc he was a stray...
Lucky, my lop is going down hill fast. Tomorrow is NYE. No vet available. I’ve given lots of greens, he eats a small amount, small amount of Timothy Hay and drinks a small amount of sweetened water. I’ve been syringe feeding the last couple of days, 2x per day. One syringe each time. I cleaned...
well, today he is acting funny again. Not eating or drinking and staying in the litter box. His poop pellets are very small. I tried more rose leaves, asparagus, carrots and he won’t eat. So I’ve added water to pellets and I’m using the syringe. How much and how often should I do this?
He is better today. Eating and drinking from a bowl, not the bottle. I syringe fed him last night, purées veggies and water. He was so listless. I didn’t think he would be alive today. But a pleasant surprise! He is fine!
