I did the does' feet today-10 sets of hooves. Going by feet that had been neglected for a few months three of my lamanchas are on the list for keeping doelings out of-Summer, Trinka, and Lace. I did and ranked the bucks earlier, but are do to be redone next week.
Still. No. Babies. :barnie
I know goats can do it. My first kidding the doe threw two huge, full term kids (one doa) and one premie with no teeth and unfinished hooves. We lost the premie because I couldn't get it to produce a bowel movement-I didn't realize it was premie until I realized the others had teeth and their...

STOP...now I want a puppy...or a bunch of puppies.
and I'm already up to my ears in baby human and about to be up to my ears in baby goats. I do not want to want a puppy, much less a million puppies.
The husband observes that he appears to prefer breeding other bucks. Ava broke into his recovery stall after his tail got ripped up by badger and he bred her and produced kids, but that was a one single doe in raging heat, no bucks in sight, he did not have to court the doe kind of thing. He's...
...so a lot of people are no longer going to have worms or lice...
Gee, I hope they don't poison themselves in the process. Getting sick from too much ivermectin isn't fun, I tell you (stupid pour on).
I wouldn't mind if ivermectin actually works for it. I don't trust people to self medicate...
I got a new toy yesterday and just opened it. Look what I can do now for $30.
Here's a "canary feather" from the kids toy slide collection.
I'm so excited to play with this. No more cross eyed fecals!
Uh oh. If no dwarf goats kid in the next 11 days appears little Durango was a very lucky buck and bred all the ND ladies this year. I ran a buck with half the does for several weeks weeks, took the buck out, waited a few weeks, put in more does and Durango for the new does and to act as clean up...
Lamancha or nubian for breed (make sure your goats are disease tested negative for all three big goat diseases especially for your starter stock). Look for milkable long teats and good udders with nice texture and orifice on prospective milkers. Dwarves, which I have too, don't milk much and...
If ice was a frequent occurrence $16 on amazon spent on crampons can save you from a broken bone. I only had to fall five or six times before giving in and I'm glad I did. Sounds like you're probably going to be okay though.
This poses an interesting explanation why some people exposed in the same situation get it and others don't...not that I'm going eating at restaurants lately. Getting sick with it is a higher price than I'd like to pay for the ambiance of eating indoors with people.
Pawing, going off by herself, stretching as if moving babies, calling to her babies, being licky, nesting. I'm in a similar situation and I CAN find the ligaments. Darn things seem to be fluctuating with the barometer.
If you have a warm drier place like a garage to set up a puppy pen or pallet...
Udders can fill up to a month early (sometimes more from what I understand), but you are probably much closer than that. It is hard to feel ligaments. Keep checking and watching for other signs of labor. You're doing good.
