Hello again.....It's been quite some time since I've been on here....had to get a new computer. I have about 35 SBF ewes bred and ready to lamb the middle of next month and into March. Hope all is well with everyone.....good to be back....Think Spring!

It's finally begun...the first lamb of the season was born yesterday....a bouncing baby girl...emphasis on the bouncing....:lol: The mother (Irish Acres Highland Janice) is a first time mom and is doing a great job...I hope the other 9 first timers that are due are just as great as the first...

Thanks, Maybe I'll buy a bag and try it out....if they don't like it...I'll mix it in with my Bantam feed Ewe and ram lamb from last Spring....

I've seen some shepherds are already getting lambs...... Mine should start lambing in a week or two...hope to post some photos of the little Scottish blackface.....I'm expecting about 30 lambs this year....down from a few years ago....I didn't keep as many mature ewes as I normally keep...

Thanks......I'll continue with my hay....good advice! I tried some alfalfa cubes and they snubbed their noses at them..... We should be having lambs in another couple of weeks. Thanks again Shelly

I would like to know from those who feed Alfalfa pellets the correct amount to feed sheep (per head)....can I supplement half their hay ration with the pellets and could I even use ONLY the pellets for their daily feeding? Thanks, Rusty
