I have mostly Nubians but do have one Saanen doe... I've noticed the last month or so that the Nubians are getting fat and the Saanen is looking skinnier.. They are all on pasture and are together... Those being milked get rolled oats everyday as well. The Saanen is older, about 5 I think...

I have 2 pure nubian doelings, 1 snubian doeling and 1 snubian buckling on the ground right now.. Have 2 more nubian does and a lamancha doe due anytime. Dad is a registered Nubian, both his parents were State Fair Grand Champions in Washington.

My saanen had twins yesterday!! a boy and a girl!! That brings us to 4 girls and a boy so far for the year!! Does anyone know if the buck determines the sex in goats and if some bucks consistently throw more of one or the other? This is the first year for this buck and so far he is throwing...
