I have, there has been a couple of cases from the vet told me here in SE MI.

"It's a farm thing you wouldn't understand" You are sooo right. Nothing taste as good when you set the table with food from your garden that you raised. Reminds me of that movie Richer or Poorer when Tim Allen's corn grew, When you see all your hard work pay off, the muscles seem to hurt less.

60' for mine. I wouldn't go any smaller or bigger for training. The 60' will keep you in control while ground working, but a safe distance that 30' won't allow. Once your more into the riding phase, I'd do more of a arena size 100' X whateverbyou can do.

Your supposed to ride a horse? I thought they were kings, since I slave after mine all the time. They watch me sweat while I work on their stall, lug the water, repair the fence or the million other things that they break. I know the one laughs when the truck backs up to the barn and unloads...

Almost all my gear is nylon, don't get the nice leather smell, but it does hold up good.

I've been debating on replacing my 8n with a new compact w front end loader. After trying out several brands and models I've narrowed it down to a kubota 2920and JD 3000 series. Anyone have either? Likes/dislikes? What would you choose? Thanks
