she’s currently on show rite cruiser. Gained 200lbs since Jan took her to first show and judge DID NOT like her. apparently she already picked out her winner before judging as the winner was a kid she helped at a winter camp

yes…i’m still trying to find a show feed i can put her on which is why i started this post thingy lol she isn’t a feed lot heifer

if those bags are a supplement i’m still asking for her main feed…? that’s what im asking 😭 idk what feed to get i put in what my feed store can do

no i’m old enough to drive. 2 bags last me about 1-2 weeks, i can see i just can’t afford driving over an hour round trip

I can most definitely have things shipped off of Amazon since that’ll be about 1-3 weeks. my feed store can special order show-rite HF has 11% protein, 2% fat, and 19% fiber they can special order the rival base - 13.1% protein 12.4% fiber they have purina fitters edge - 14% protein 15%...

So 13% isnt high enough? All the feed stores in my area dont all carry the same thing, my main close to feed store can't get purina as its not common in our area to get it and takes months to get here and not all the bags are fresh...the most common and easy to get feed brand is Show-rite...

no which is why i was asking for rival feeds on the beginning of the post….purina is no longer being carried which is why im going back to rival and seeing which rival feed i should be feeding. the base or bold

I’ll see if my feed store carries any feeds that high in protein for a breeder. the highest i’ve been able to find that’s easy to get is 13%

yes pictures were the day i weighed her which was tuesdays. she was 658lbs. she gets free choice minerals and salt and free choice hay and 2.5-3% of her body weight in grain.

as of tuesday she weighed in 658lbs. she was on pasture and hay since march as they were gonna breed her since the kids chose another heifer. yet she still got worked with jsut not grain as she was headed to be a breeder. she was on grain for a while before getting taken off. she gets about...
