Hi everyone, having found BYC so helpful I thought I would sign up here as well.
We inherited a couple of donkeys when we bought the property and keep a few cows for friends.
However, we're about to buy our own calves so I'll have questions!!!!!!!!!!
(This site is a little different to navigate than BYC so forgive if I post things in the wrong place!)

Greetings and welcome to BYH! Glad you decided to join us. There's a growing number of folks here who keep cows or are planning to, so the amount of information and experience in the various threads is growing :clap This site is a little different than BYC, but I'm sure you'll get a handle on pretty quickly. Browse around some and make yourself at home! If you have questions, post away and generally someone will answer you in short order.

A big howdy and welcome from the Great Lone Star State of Texas! I don't have any advise for you on the calves you talk about in you other post, but I'm sure someone will come in with pointers to look for. I understand what you said about it being difficult to judge a moving calf to a picture... calves do seem to be perpetual moving machines.

Feel at home to ask questions, post pictures -- which we all love to see, and bring any advise to the table.

I'm glad you found us.
