Hi,

I am new to goat keeping and came across this site when researching a health issue I am having with one of my girls. I live in southern AZ and have 3 Nigerian Dwarf Does, 2 are 5 mos and one is 10 mos and pregnant (yes too early, I acquired her and discovered she was pregnant after the fact.) I look forward to reading all the pearls of wisdom shared here. So glad for this resource as I have recently learned there are no vets locally that treat goats so I'm feeling a little on my own.

Greetings and welcome to BYH. Lots of good goat folks here. As you read through the various threads, you'll get to "meet" many of them. If you have a problem, by all means start a thread or respond to one dealing with your issue. Chances are someone will come along pretty quick to help you out. There is quite a bit of really good info available free for the reading. So, browse around and make yourself at home! Glad you joined us. Oh, and if you'd be willing, share a few pics of your goats... we're all picture addicts here ;)

Welcome from NW Mississippi!!...:frow
We have goats, chickens, ducks, and cats here. We have had our goats for close to 2 and a half yrs now, and we found out the same thing here just after getting them...so, I understand being a bit overwhelmed. Luckily none of ours were pregnant as we only got 1 doe with 2 wethers. There are many knowledgeable people here that are more than willing to assist with advice and experience to any situation. Hopefully yours will turn out to be as healthy as ohrs have been...knock on wood...so far. Feel free to browse around and if ya have a question, comment, or advice just feel free to post, and we certainly do love pics, so share your animals as ya see fit.
Again....:welcome
