Welcome from NW Mississippi!!....:frow
I've never dealt with BB before and @Latestarter did a great job in explaining, so no need for me to add to or confuse that issue.
We have goats, chickens, ducks, and cats here. We are all pic addicts, so if ya wish to share some pics of those little ones feel free to do so. While ya browse around the Forums and Threads feel free to post any question, comment, or advice....we all try to help each other in whatever may arise, so just make yourself at home.
Again...:welcome

Yup, my avatar is Mel (short for Mellow) 50/50 Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees, taken around the side of my last house on the front range in CO. I moved down here to east TX fall of 2016. Yup, that's Bay's horse Joe.

Mississippi! A great state! I've been there several times. I'm a student of the War of Northern Aggression, so Mississippi is very important to me. Did you realize that before the war, Mississippi had more millionaires per capita than any state?

Welcome from another East Texan! :frow

I also live near Latestarter, and Baymule. We have had several get togethers since we met here on BYH. We have also included @goatgurl, who lives in AR, about 3 hours North of us. I got my 2 LaMancha Dairy goats from her. I'm milking and getting about a gallon a day. We h.ave a cream separator and cream, to make butter with. I also make mozzarella & Chévre cheese, and eventually want to make other types of aged cheese.

DH and I are retired, and have lived here for 3 years. We have ducks, geese, chickens and a cranky turkey hen, as well as a pair of excellent livestock guardian dogs.

Wow! You jumped in,with both feet, when you got two bottle baby dairy goats! You have a steep learning curve, and have a lot to learn. But Latestarter has gotten y'all off to a great start. Just keep hanging out here, on BYH and asking questions. We have some really knowledgeable goat people here.

Welcome from Texoma! I'm an oddball out of the Texas group too, since I'm in Oklahoma but close to Wichita Falls, and about 3 hours NW of Dallas/ Fort Worth.
As you can see from my avatar, I have goats also. That's one of my Nubian does standing up to greet me at feeding time - with her front feet on a 4 ft pallet gate. Goats always think they're starving. Feeding time is a mad house here since I have all 6 goats following me around, I feel like the pied piper!
Late, just realized you've been in TX for a whole year now, seems like you just barely moved!

Greetings from Indiana!:frow
No goats for me, but you came to the right place. Plenty of Goaties here to be of assistance. You will gain plenty of good tips from their knowledge. Once straightened out and settled in, you can venture around the site and find lots of useful info and plenty of friendly folks sharing it.
