He does not yell much and usually it is 2 hours after I feed the 4 oz and he quiets quickly. I assume the little guy is lonely and the puppy is not good company for him. You know he nibbles his ears and humps the goat so....i take him away and he is alone again.

I hope he gets better. My little pygmy buck was not active until he was 5 days old. His sister was jumping all over him.

Since he is not pure pygmy, I would not go by that chart. I would go by body weight. 4 oz per 5 lbs of body weight every 4 hours.
Can you get an updated weight on him?

He is 2 weeks old now. Gets up and walks better than before but only about 4-5 feet at a time. He has had no trouble going to 6 oz every 6 hours and I offer water and grain as of yesterday. Looks maybe arthritic? Has a hard lump on each side of his body around his ribs. I took him on as a favor but I really can't justify vet bills for this guy I didn't really want to take on in the first place. Lots and lots of big bills due this and next month means I just have to do the best I can.

I will weigh him again tonight. I have been giving a little dab of selenium/vitamin e paste every day.

Be careful with the selenium... it is highly toxic above a certain level. and the proper amount is in a very small window. Too much can kill. Hope he pulls through without too much expense.

It says that on the tube but then again I read something about that not even being therapeutic amounts....

He has sores on one side of his mouth almost looks like a tooth issue but his tongue also has two white sores that weren' there before.

Are you sure you're not dealing with ORF? Sore Mouth? If so, you'll want to be gloved up...

I have never heard of that!

It wasn' like that 2-3 days ago! Before that he was normal looking around the tongue mouth. Well, he did have what looked like dirt stuck to his lip that I pulled off thinking was dirt about 5 days ago

You have now... If you start getting itchy palms/hands, or a rash on them, it don't mean there's money coming... o_O What you pulled off could well have been a dirt encrusted scab...
