This doe (in the middle of the pic with the white stripe on her left side) is 6 months old. We got her at 10 weeks, and we have no buck on property (but I saw her dad in the same field as she was when I picked her up). Does she look pregnant? Her belly lately looks so much bigger than her sister’s who has the same build, even when she hasn’t eaten a ton. She eats well and is very happy and active.

Thanks.

I had one that everyone thought was bred because she’d been exposed (heat cycle was noted after exposure though.) Turns out she wasn’t.

She’s since been exposed and we will see if she took. This pic is about two months old. Has to be just more than her share of hay.

Does she have an udder starting? Goat gestation is 5 mos. She should be due soon if she did get bred.

Here’s the link I use to calculate. It’ll help you check to see if it’s even possible.

Thanks! Yes, by the calculated dates she could be due as late as May 30 based on when we got her. No udder yet. Looks comparable to her sister’s teats. I really hope it’s just hay belly since she’s so young!

Your goat looks convincingly pregnant! I take that as reassurance mine isn’t... Thanks!
