So I have this 2 week old litter of 5 Mini Rexes. 4 of the kits have both eyes open but the 5th has one of its eyes still completely sealed.
It seems fine and healthy just sealed shut.
I'm not sure these facts have anything to do with it but I don't know. The kit is a broken Castor and spends most of day with the doe instead of in the nestbox with it's littermates.
If anyone knows what might be wrong with it I would love to hear your thoughts. Please and Thank you.
Here are pictures of both eyes.

Open the closed eye. Use a wet cotton swab or paper towel (you can use saline solution if you prefer, or plain water) and moisten the area, and gently force the lids apart. If the eye isn't open at 14 days, there is some infection going on, and it needs help. Once the eye is open, gently wipe any crusty matter that may be around it off. Just getting oxygen to the eye may be all the help it needs, but if the eye continues to produce goo, or closes again, you may need to use an antibiotic to clear it up.

Thanks so much, @Bunnylady and @mystang89 . The kit now has it's eye open a bit more, thanks to your instructions with the water and Cotton Swabs.
