I have had this girl for a year and still don't know what breed she is. It really doesn't matter but I am curious. Haven't properly measured her but at the top of her head she is a little over three feet tall, the shelter she is standing in front of is four feet tall.

May be 3/4 alpine and 1/4 nubian. Love the alpine nubian crosses. She does not have airplane ears that a 1/2 alpine 1/2 nubian has. But if you breed that cross back to an alpline the ears would be shorter.

Okay. She does look like an Alpine but I hadn't thought about a cross with a Nubian but I can see it. That could explain why one of her kids has slightly longer ears than it's sister. Thank you.

She looks high nipped as she is standing which makes me think a Nubian in there somewhere. You could ask an ADGA member that breeds Alpines if she meets NOA and start breeding up. The breed standard is on website www.adga.org
