Hello,
I did a search on grinder and it said the last post was 2014. My two sons and I have 3 pigs to butcher in a couple of months. I am looking for a good quality grinder that don't have plastic/nylon gears. there is one on cabela's for like $300 but not sure if it is a good one and if there is any must have attachments. this is our first go at butchering. thanks for the advise Karl

From experience, I do not like Weston hand cranked meat grinders or corn meal/grain mill products. They're cheap for a reason- avoid them. Metal flakes in everything
