Hello from West Texas

I am new to herd animals! I’ve had chickens for a year now and I’ve decided to start with goats! I brought home an orphaned doeling a week ago, named Tilly the Kid, and she’ll finally get a friend in another week when I’m able to leave town again!
She is a 2 month old Nubian/Spanish cross with trace amounts of Boer. I’m really excited to grow my herd and learn all I can!

By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Oh, and we all love pics, so post them anytime you feel the need! Please make yourself at home!
