one of my does has a swollen infected teat. i brought it up before but it looks like its getting worse. kinda scabby and whitish spots like puss. its just one nipple. is there something i should do? her kits seem to be fine. still all alive and fed.

Is it hot? Bleeding?
Can you post some pictures so we can all get a better idea of what it looks like ?
I'm wondering if it's mastitis...but the scabs don't really fit in that picture unless it's dried milk rather than scabs?
Pictures would be so helpful!

It looks like an infected nipple...
I've never seen that before, but it does not look like mastitis since it's just the teat itself.
Let me tag some other rabbit people for their opinions...if it were my doe I would put Colloidal Silver Gel on it, you could also use Chlorhexidine or Vetericyn. It just has to be something that's safe for the kits to ingest a little bit.

You can get Vetericyn at the pet store...but it's expensive.
What pet stores do you have near you? I can look and see what they have for wounds that would be safe to use on a nursing doe and send you the links :)
