I've got a doe that should have been bred in May, and due mid October.

(Exact dates written down, gotta look.)

The first two months post breeding I was certain she was changing shape. Now, I think she's just pleasantly plump.

I'll update with pics, but in meantime, how do you conclude if a doe is expecting or not?

Has she cycled again? You can send blood off to be tested.

I wait to see if my girls cycle after they have been with the buck. Others here send off for the test. I'm sure others will respond to your question.

Glad you found us! Looking forward to pictures of your doe and hearing if she is or isn't... of course if she is you should start a kidding thread to keep us up to date on how big she gets and then tons of pictures of the adorable kids.

I have not noticed her cycling at all since breeding.
My other two does appear to cycle in sync.

All three are quiet, which is against everything I've ever been told lol. However, the other two change their attitudes considerably during a heat.

I'll go out for a pic in a bit, but I don't think it'll help us out.

Our views is that an ultrasound would be a very unnecessary expense. Not sure what a blood test might cost, if minimal I might consider. I'm not yet prepared for kidding so it would sure be nice to know if I need to be!

This is her 2nd freshening, so she has a tad of an udder already.
Her brat daughter, yearling, still sneaks snacks off her.
Taped her tears for a week, hoping that fixed that problem.

She's quite squishy in the belly, front of the udder.
At 3months post breeding, i say that's a bad sign, no?

If only I could win the lottery to build a second pasture :(
