    Canesister's 2025 journal - Bushel & Peck Farm

Seeds -- I do some stuff from seed and some from buying the plants - 4 or 6 pack but those prices are going UP so...

Mine all eat together. I don't know if there is a drench you can use. I'm still a newbie at all of this :). Always learning.

Hi from Central Texas with Dexters! (and still getting my setup in place)

Welcome to BYH from So Cal. Just sheep, a handful of chickens and dogs here. I raise the sheep for freezers and auction. Dorper and dorper crosses (nothing registered). Originally I was teaching herding lessons here (have been doing that since the early 90s at another facility). My dogs and I...

    Coffee anyone ?

I hate the change. Dark to wake up can't get things done. Then I adjust through the day and go to bed on the current time. UGH

I'm thinking it'll work. From all I've read here, sounds like you gave him an LGD style correction.

Yup rattlesnake. Hate them. We do have king snakes and gopher snakes - both like to eat the rattlers. I looked into getting kings awhile back, didn’t look easy (esp with CA being CA ). I should start looking again and figure out a way). I lost count of how many rattlers we took care of.

My DS does no-gluten bread - DDIL can't do gluten well. I'll see if he will give me his recipe.

Not trivial at all! Not everyone can make bread. While I can do sour dough most of my attempts at bread are paper weights. From what I see online not many can do sourdough. But - Geeze baking is an art! She will appreciate the bread.
