Maybe? I’ve seen flies by him lately but there could be something like horseflies getting to him(?). I haven’t inspected super closely, but haven’t noticed swelling or bugs, so I assumed parasite, but that could be wrong.

We do, but they can’t get to him. The wounds also aren’t terribly deep. Yesterday he lost wool in those bloody patches (no blood or scabs then), and the scabbing showed up today.

Not that I know of, and I haven’t treated it yet. I have some Vetericyn for my hens, could that be good to clean it with, then apply something like Bag Balm afterwards? Thank you for replying, I appreciate it :)
