My flock-to-be: 2-3 Gotland ewes, there is a guy up in Lebanon, Oregon that has a couple that I will be buying. Plus a 2 year old llama from a guy out from Grants Pass, Oregon, I will be looking for more details on the llama but the Gotland's are from a reputable breeder that I trust and I will...
Hello everyone! Was just wondering what your beginner supplies/items checklist would look like?
Ex:
-Water buckets
-Food troughs
-Minerals
-Hoof clippers
-Shears
-etc.
Thank you all so much, you are very kind and I am happy to be a part of BYH and Happy New Year!
I agree, but just too make sure that it does not slip out from underneath itself, put some kind of supports behind the legs that are going to be on the ground the longest.
Hi, I was just wondering if anybody could tell me if would be OK to expand and raise sheep on a medium-steep terrain? It is wooded so I will be having to clear a bit but other than that, it looks like a great place to expand!
I have recently decided after 2 years of reaserch to get 3 Gotlands (a whether and 2 ewes). I am mainly going to be selling the wool but wanted to know if the meat is any good? Also I am wondering how much to sell the wool for per pound? Thank you.
