    Muscovy Duck fertility

    We are trying something new - well new for us. We are trying to put male duck in with female ducks and then take him out after a bit. Does anyone know how long the semen will be viable within the female duck? I've tried a google search and don't get anywhere. Thought I'd come to the experts.

    We've had both Tufted Romans and then Pilgrims. We have had some good results from leaving the geese in their trios and then separating them when they start to lay.
