You've got quite the team of workers! What are the ages of the kids? You definitely need some fence nails to attach the fence. Is the fence H braces at the corners and T posts between? You could likely get the wire tied back into itself without the fence nails but it is a lot easier if you've...

Looks like a turtle alright ;) What does it's tail look like and where did they find it?

    Best internment for LGD puppy?

She probably IS dirty at least in the fur. I expect she will soon "blow coat" for the warmer weather. She might appreciate having some of that combed out as it gets loose.

Sure I'll sign, I have no need to be planted anywhere specific. Of course if I go first I guess DW could decide to plant me somewhere. DD1 wants to be stuck somewhere she can fertilize a tree.

I assume they won't, it isn't like they are staying on purpose. Fortunately the resort is putting them up in the housing they rent during their work time and providing groceries. No way those "kids" (mostly college age, come here to make money) could afford that with no job.

Hmmm, the full moon thing works 50% for my girls ;) Full moon the day before DD1 was born New moon 3 days before DD2 was born New moon 2 days before I was born New moon the day after DW was born Full moon 2 days before my dad was born Last quarter 2 days after my mom was born OK, I don't...

    C&D Farming..oh what a life!

Since you are already working a WHOLE lot, yeah, see if there is someone nearby that will hay your fields. They already have the expensive equipment and experience to know when the hay is dry enough to bale and how to get it that way. I think there are several "payment models". You could pay...

You sure that is a good idea? Maybe he can set up a table on his side of the fence and you one on your side ;) $14K? guess I haven't looked into the cost of getting buried. Did they snake him into an expensive coffin in his state of grief or something? I'm with you, straight into the...

I had a few like that (no *I* didn't cut that tree down!). I cut an X into the top of them then wedge split them. Only way to get them small enough to put on the splitter. Nearly a full cord :D

Pounding some posts will give your DH some exercise and an outlet for stress ;) That lady was understandably pretty stressed out. I'm sure the Peruvian temp workers likewise trapped at Smuggler's Notch Resort (where DD2 worked until 1.5 weeks ago, laid off when they closed due to the virus)...

And there you have Baymule's backbone - borrow it. You tell them to "shelter in place" so they don't potentially spread or get the virus. I think NOT! You've already said he has a big heart. I can't see him telling them the door is closed if it is up to him. He needs to think with his head...

I couldn't find anything specific about the 8 G 1 but I watched this video And was reminded that while the 8 is likely a size indicator, it is the size of the "eye" of a wood cookstove, not the pan in inches. Since your pan has no ring, it is likely post wood cookstove era (the ring was kept...

    Promise Acre: Spring almost

It is true that a lot of invasives have some food or medical value. If the dang stuff just wouldn't spread underground like cancer through the garden (and everywhere else)!

I've seen those, do you have a ripping chain for your saw? I have found that the regular chain crosscuts great but is almost a butter knife if I try to go with the grain. Can you get a picture of the bottom where those marks are? The 8 is probably and indication that it is an 8" pan. "G" maybe...

Sounds like you have an "Ant and the grasshopper" family JF. Unfortunately you are the only ant. As others said, it is your and DH's responsibility to protect and provide for your kids and each other. Your family are all adults, have been for years, and need to take care of themselves not put a...

    Coffee anyone ?

Here as well given most weeks I don't go off the property more than once or twice and generally that is for grocery shopping and delivering eggs. As with all "conspiracy" scary stuff, always good to check the facts because those who post the "scary stuff" haven't done due diligence. The tanks...
