The kits are very active and today we notice their fur is starting to come in. But they are so wrinkly! Is this normal?

So after our surprise Dutch litter in July, our mini rex Loretta had a litter of five yesterday afternoon. Looks like three broken black and two all black. They are so lively compared to the Dutch babies they are practically jumping over each other and out of the nest!

They are hopping out of the nesting box! Time to take it out right? My daughter is so in love with them she wants to keep them both. They look like they both have good markings, am I right?

Momma had one more still birth today on the kitchen floor...I hope that's the last one! I never knew cats did this! She is being a very good momma to her four living kittens.

Well momma cat had two more babies early this morning. One didn't make it though. Now she's proudly nursing her four babies....and I think she's done! Lol
