    Mini-Nubian vs Kinder feedback wanted

I would get the nubian doe along with her papers. Nubians are the ones with long ears right? Lol I just got 2 little NDs and they are very sweet. I like nubians, but we dont have room. I vote nubian with papers. Its worth it if you want to sell her later because most people look to buy...

    Getting a Goat!

When we arrived, she told us someone backed out on a whether... and because he was cuter, and smaller, we of course brought him home instead. The doeling is very sweet and super healthy. The little whether still has a bit of a cough, but they were given shots last weekend and he should be over...

    weaning questions

I would seperate the buck as soon as you can. I dont know if its the same for all goats, but nigerian bucks can be fertile as young as 7 weeks. Females arent ready until 8 months or when they reach full size. And so a buck can breed your does when they are two young and it can kill the doe. If...

We are really struggling right now, but so far, ive gained 40 dollars for my goat. 20 bucks from some rich guy we were supposed to "give " our rooster to. And 20 bucks in two lottery tickets. The rest inwill pay in my own savings so... 240 of 350...

    getting a goat?

You said you were getting a buck too? Please remember that until you breed your goats, does and bucks must be kept seperate. Does and whethers and bucks and whethers get along fine though. Also, please allow at least 6 months between breeding a doe. I would get nigerians if I were you. They...

Due in August - picture UPDATE

Also, a buck should stand between 19 and 21 inches tall, with some bucks allowed up to 23 inches, so I wouldnt look for the tallest one. Look at the nigerians on this site, especially the top one on this page. They are excellent in quality, and we may buy from them.... but they are so far xD...

Due in August - picture UPDATE

I dont have my goat yet, waiting on the reply, but I know what a nigerian should look like. make sure they have a straight topline. Mostly for does, they should have a wide rump for easy births. Blue eyes is always loved, but a lot of people love unqiue colors, so its yiur choice. then yes, I...
