Contact Southern by Choice, contract her services, beg her to accept your dog for a training spell......if she can't fix your dog...nobody can. The woman is amazing with LGD...IF...if youre fortunate...she'll take your dog and the money you pay her will be well worth it.

Just my 25c...if it's ok to have the LGD dog eat all the poop, eat the afterbirth, lick and clean the dirty new born/mama, eat dead animals in pasture...all of which I've read about in many forums....why have an issue with the dog reacting to menstrual secretions?

If you can see the stray dogs...can you not knock some over with a rifle? Get a head start, help out your LGD and just even up the playing field for your animals. Damn these stray dogs.

Poultry and goats and horses. Not commercial, just for the fun of it. 20 acres, hardwoods & pasture. have had issues with roaming dogs, coyotes, foxes and owls. Lots of...resources..available to do it right.

I was hoping to see the variation between the various breeds. Pyr, Anatolians, Boz, Kangal, Mers.... I read on forums, see pics...but there's no substitute for seeing the dogs in person. Hope to be able to visit and see some soon.

We are in the Raleigh area, but are finding it difficult to even see working LGD to form a basis from which to move fwd to buying a couple. Anyone in the area...100mls radius...who has LGD in actual work...who'd be able to let us just look at them? We're actually visiting Tryon, NC this...
