    really? i assumed since they did well with ducks they did fine. our aussie doesnt attack our chickens(she loves that she finally has something to herd).

    A rat gun filled with pellets should work. Or although, it doesn't sound that great , frozen paint balls will work on dogs and raccoons maybe even a coyote

    if you have chicken poop on your front porch, back porch and almost every where else if the main way your dogs get stinky is rolling in manure

    i would use Australian shepherd. they are very good barkers and if trained, agressive. we take ours camping and she has scared off foxes and coyotes several times. had her scare off a pack of coyotes once.
