We are going thru Canadian border with goats, sheep, dogs and cats

Just re-do the AIRS (it asks you one question at a time and you pick from a drop down) with Oregon as the location. Each state has some specifics. It most likely will look very much like the one above. Good luck (ping back if you can't make the AIRS thing work, and I can run thru each of them...

    CDT Vaccine?

One plan recommends vaccination of adults once a year; pregnant females 4-6 weeks before to parturition; crias at 3-4 months old and again 4 weeks later then yearly thereafter. A second plan is based on vaccinating adults once a year; breeding females when they are open; and crias at 2-3 days...

    Goat Mineral for llamas?

Goat mineral would more than likely have too much copper. The llama mineral has about 200 ppm of copper; typically goat mineral is more than that. Although I have seen minerals listed for both goats and sheep and of course it has next to no copper. We are in Canada and get ours from...

We are going thru Canadian border with goats, sheep, dogs and cats

We have found that putting a decent layer of sawdust down first, then straw helped with the urine. Do you know if you have to go across the border without all the straw and whatever else you might have? Are they going to make you clean out the trailer of organic matter and just have the animals...

We are going thru Canadian border with goats, sheep, dogs and cats

We have a horse trailer that the goats and others rode in. I did take goats in the back of the honda van to shows. The seats came out and we put down a big plastic tarp, covered it with sawdust and straw. They were great travelers. Laid down most the time, only got up to see what was going on...

Goats and sheep.. geez what is the paperwork you need to do to come into Canada? Traveled back and forth to goat shows but that was tops 10 hours on the road and we have done lots of traveling with the llamas to go hiking with them.

Have never had yak. They eat it in Tibet but I expect that might be older animals. It is supposed to be like bison/buffalo, low in fat. There is a huge yak show as part of the National Western Stock Show in Denver (next week I think January 22 is the yak showing day)...

Yaks.. there are a few around being raised for meat along the lines of raising buffalo. We got them to pack with.. you know. like they do in Tibet. Got lazy though and it didn't happen, so basically they are pasture potatoes... they eat less than a beef cow does, very efficient. We use our...
