Sorry I haven't been on here in forever, mine just had a lot to do! The doelings ears are quite quite as one stayed as a Pygmy ear and the other is a Nubian ear. We have done so much since I was last on here, we have added a Charolais bull bottle calf to the family, and a quarter horse...
Here she is! She is the white one, the little brown/tan one is our rescue goat that was rejected by his mom. Not sure what the white one is mixed with as her ears are COMPLETLEY different from each other. One ear looks like a Nubian ear and the other ear is a Pygmy ear. Not sure if they will...
She had one beautiful baby girl, pictures to come! We also took in a mini Nubian that is 5 days old, because he was rejected by his mom. Mamas baby was a big girl, we got it all on video as well!
It's happening everyone!!! Mamma is in labor!:celebrate:celebrate We suspect she went into labor sometime last night, because our dogs had started to go crazy all night. She is screaming, pawing, panting, hunching up, and didn't even attempt to eat her grain which is odd, because she is the one...
Great news everyone!!! Mamma has went into labor!!!! :weee We suspect that she went into labor sometime last night as our dogs had been going crazy all night, and she didn't eat a single piece of her grain. She is a really quiet goat, and she is just a screaming. This is clearly signs of labor...
Yes, she can be an extremely stubborn horse. I know she is more attached to me though because she was a nurse mare foal that I had to give formula to so in her eyes I am her mom. I will have to try it on her again, as she has calmed down a bit since I tried. :)
Yes, I have heard of that and tried it, but it makes her very unhappy very quickly (that's a mare for you). The problem is that she only stands for me, so when I have someone try to hold her she won't behave, but if I hold her she stands just fine. She absolutely HATES to be tied when working...
I am so sorry. :( Its so hard to sell them, because they become so much apart of the family. I am sorry for your losses. :( If you lived in Texas, I would take them for you, but traveling all the way to Michigan is much too far for goats. I hope things start to go well for you.
Does anyone have any unwanted wood and wood posts? Or round pen panels for a decent price? I am setting up and arena and round pen to train my horse in, just not looking to spend a fortune. They don't have to be pretty, just usable. Also, if you have any unwanted livestock things or horse...
Ours is getting there, we are currently doing some weeding up by the house and trimming back rose bushes. We also have to wash all of the white picket fencing out front and on the sides, so that will take some time. We have to fill in a lot of holes, and burn a lot of brush, but its a work in...
I totally understand you. The homeowners now are nice and all, but they were/are definitely hoarders. They do have a granddaughter that is a complete brat and acts like she owns the place though . We actually told them how we have ATV's and they said that was fine and we could ride them, then...
