    NH Homesteader- turkeys!

Ok chicken folks... What kind of chicken is this? I finally got a picture. She didn't love being chased around the yard until I got a good picture (fortunately my rooster is in a time out pen and can't retaliate lol!) the markings look like a Partridge Wyandotte to me but not sure.

What to do about stray dogs?

I don't even remember this conversation. People drive deer here but I don't know if it's legal or not. I don't like it either. NH Homesteader- turkeys!

Umm I have no idea, I can't tell for sure until they're about 6 months and the toms start acting like toms lol. NH Homesteader- turkeys!

Turkeys are neat aren't they? They might be fine together, I've never kept mine together but I know plenty of people do. I kept turkeys with my Jersey giants for a good 3 months last year and they did great. Not sure how they would have been beyond that.

    NH Homesteader- turkeys!

Grand total of 3 turkeys hatched. One of them didn't look so good for the first few days, his neck was bent all awkwardly but it's straightening out now! Chick arrived yesterday. One didn't make it, we tried but no luck. Unfortunately it was a Dorking, but we still have 7. The rest are doing...

 heck no you aren't, I would be mad. But was this because she left and her husband had them "dumped" on him? Sorry they weren't taken great care of but no, it's not your fault:hugs
