Yep, he is a Pyrenees. such a good puppy! He is growing so fast! The Stereo Equipment is my husband's hobby... he restores high end Pioneer components that were headed for the dumpster.

    Virtual Flock

I don't thing they would do all that well here in Tucson AZ either. I'd have to move to maybe... Colorado.

    Playing in the Rain!

The past couple of dogs we have had HATED to go out in the rain, you had to literally push them out the door! Not Cherokee! He loved it!! But, since it has rained for two days straight now, he has spent much more time in the house playing. Thankfully he will sit in laps and play with his toys...

    Introducing "Cherokee"

Ok... I got a great idea!! Getting Cherokee a couple of Pygora goats to watch over. Of course my husband says "NO!" I guess I shouldn't have showed him this photo... This is a Nubian kid... a Pygora would be much smaller. Or you know what I really want!! But I don't think there are any in...

    Introducing "Cherokee"

This egg is way tooo big!

I don't have a rooster, so my eggs will never make any chicks. It would be fun to hatch some eggs, but, here in the city they frown upon keeping roosters.

Need help weaning 4 month old

Not at all... it is harder to get off at milking time... It stays on very well. It takes about an 6 to 8 inch piece of tape. Start about 2 to 3 inches up the teat, cover the end, go up the other side, then wind the end of the tape around the teat, make sure you cover the entire end of the teat...

Need help weaning 4 month old

We "tape" up the teats. Using paper type surgical type tape. The kids don't like the feel of the tape in their mouth, and soon stop trying to nurse. That way the kids are with their moms, and they are happy except they are unable to nurse.
