    Get a llama. It will protect the herd in the pasture with it, and the landowners concern might be alleviated with this solution. My llama keeps the neighbors dogs out of the pasture, otherwise we would have no birds left at all, and you cant allow neighborhood dogs back into your birds area...

    Turkeys...Those Big Feathered Dogs

    I have 22 chickens living with a pair of bourbon turkeys we just got, the people we got the turkeys from used to house them with the chickens, so the turkeys kept escaping the turkey run and joining the chickens, so I finally gave in and let them stay.

    How do I halter train a llama or alpaca who won't allow touching

    How should I begin halter training 2 skittish rescued llamas and 2 rescued alpacas that don't allow touching? One of each will sometimes come eat grains from the feed bucket I'm holding, and they will follow me almost close enough to touch when I feed them, but no-touchie! I read the siggestion...
