We had a farmer friend come in and do a first cut and got 200 bails or so...
Couple pictures, it seams to be getting worse.
She had a 3 hour ride in trailer to get here and he had hay in trailer( wonder if she just got debris in eyes with wind ?)

I had a local farmer cut/Bale this field in June for $1.50 / Bale.( 200 bales)
I would like to do a second cutting before I get the two calves in approximately 1 month.
Should I get second cut or just let them graze on the taller grass?( My thought was to get second cutting in about 2 weeks...
I have 4 Acres that I am going to put two Cavs on pretty soon that I plan on rotating them between two different paddocks of 2 acres each.
Do you just wait until they've eaten down an area pretty good to rotate them to the other side?
Also can I use the same 2pastures to get at least one cutting...

I almost thought the tester was bad.
I definitely don't have 30 miles of fencing to put up but it may be closed depending on how many wires I end up having in the end once I can get all the grass and brush cleared from my fence Rows.
And it is a zareba 30-mile AC...
I had to energize it b/c my goats were chewing the insulators off almost faster than being put up.

I have a 30 mile charger that's new, and 3 -6'ground rods about 8-10' apart.
I just about dropped the tester when it showed 18.0!?!

They don't show there ribs at all anytime of the year.
I only feed them hay in winter, otherwise they graze on 3 different rotational fields( 6acres...
