    Tattooing young rabbits...tips please!

So, I just got my first rabbit tattoo outfit. I sprung for the inkinator, ordered from KW cages. I also got a bunny burrito to wrap the little ones up when I am marking them. It seems pretty straight forward. Slow, deliberate lines on the inside of the left ear. Any one have any tips or tricks...

What is the latest you have seen a doe kindle?

My doe is on day 36. I can see the kits moving in her belly. She has pulled a lot of fur and seems to have had a few false starts (in nest for hours, panting) but still no kits. Curious what is the longest you have seen a doe go and kindle a healthy litter? Thanks!

First time mom kindled on the wire. When should I rebreed?

Found 5 dead kits this morning from my 1 year old American Chinchilla. She seems to be in good condition. From what I am reading it would be best to do it within 3 days or so. My plan is to do it tomorrow (1 day after). Is this reasonable? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

My question is, how long do I need to let them settle in before I attempt to breed them? Can I give it a shot tomorrow or Wednesday? Or should I let...

Got another prospective trio I am looking at. Opinions please!

So I have been doing a bit of research and think I may want to focus on a Heritage breed that needs help. I found someone who has pedigreed American Chinchilla rabbits from pretty reputable local lines. They are proven. The two does are related, but unrelated to the buck. They are 2 years old...

Would you buy these rabbits at this price??

Hey guys, I have been researching rabbit breeders in my area and am about ready to make a deal with a small rabbit farm. West Meadow rabbitry, they breed "quality New Zealands for show and meat." He is asking 100$ for two rabbits from his "best meat production line." If I get three the 2nd doe...
