    Hello From Southern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois

Yikes. You may have to put a nice tall fence around the trees, far enough away that you can still get to the apples when they are ready. Our apple tree rather sucks but it is great for applesauce, apple butter, and pie filling. We have a Bartlett pear tree and wow those are good. These are...

excellent article!!! I also found that if you have feather dusters + the heat lamp (both hung correctly) they will gather under them and be very happy chicks. My It is probably a typo or more likely a memory loss thing... *it's been years since I had my own brood* so thank you for the correction.

    Hi from Southern Oregon

Oh good, I was about to ask the neighbors if they had one LOL. I read about using hands or a rope around the legs and that sounded easy enough. Never touching the jaw or it would break. Hands to reposition. <-- what I learned yesterday. I will check into the kid puller.

    Hi from Southern Oregon

A kit!! ok I can check with the neighbors. I told them all about the vet/worming/ colic for the horses etc. I am sure they will take that to heart. The awesome thing is they came with ear tags 'no scrapie.' Part of our fence went pfft and they get into the neighbor's however they are thrilled...

    Hi from Southern Oregon

Hi Herd - I can't say I own the sheep and goats, but I share the land with our neighbors who do own them. We live in Grants Pass, OR, just outside of town. There are 16 sheep + lambs, 9 of which are ewes, 3 goats, 2 of them, nannies - both expecting; and a pony and a horse, and a few ducks. I...
