I found it. Now I know what it is supposed to feel like. It's full. I double check by checking one of my girls. All is well in that area.
With him having no other issues I'll just call it s sneeze.
thank you for your help
.
🤣🤣🤣
Ok, so I forgot to just now. Soooo, what am I feeling? I felt his throat up high under the beak. It was soft. Not sure what is supposed to feel like, my first time feeling the crop. I also felt the girls and everyone feels the same. I must be doing something wrong.
Thank you for trying. Since they played back for me I was hoping you can access them. But in my post it's different.
DE, ok. Didn't seem to do anything anyway and I use it for dust bath with sand.
He is a normal busy rooster. Crowing all day. Running with the girls in the field. Doing...
My new Rooster is making a strange noise. It can happen while he's eating, right after he crows or anytime really. I though it was gapeworm but he doesn't stretch his neck or have trouble swallowing. I posted u- tube links for you to hear him. Anyone know what this is...
I haven't put any nest boxes in there yet. I will in about a month. I found a shipping box for rifles that will make a great trough type the hens will love.
Wider bars are a great idea.
If they don't come around soon I'll swap some out for bigger bars.
😊
3 days ago I made a roost for my pullets. They play on it during the day so I know they can get up the ladder. But at night they huddle in the corner to sleep. I had removed the low bar roosts they were using so I thought they'd transition well.
Will they figure it out? What can I do to...
My girls were already 8 months old when I got them. They came with collars on. One is very friendly and they other not so. Neither one will walk in a leash. This is a major issue.
I use the collars for catching. I am teaching them to walk in a lead with halters. Little ***** want to fight...
Imagination is the best way to think of goat toys. I look for things at flea markets any yard sales. Plus free stuff where ever I can find it.
My goats have cable spools, very popular. All different sizes. A plank good across 2. They like to rub all over those and go under the plank to...
Thank you, they are sweet. Mazy is a little, ok, allot pushy. She was so sick when I got her she almost didn't make it. Since she had so much attention she is very bad. And she bites too. I think it's because before I got her she was a bottle baby.
I have the liquid Ivermectin that I use for my dog, for heartworm. I've also used it for my girls on worms. I've only ever given it orally. They are not happy about being given anything. I do need to invest in a drench gun. :D =D
These are my girls Mazy and BoPeep. A few days ago the both started shaking their head.
Even though there is no crust in the ears I suspect mites.
I was told I cut squirt liquid Ivermectin into the ears to kill the mites.
Is this true and has anyone ever used it?
Florida here too. Girls didn't care for coastal but they love Brome. I do feed a small amount of alphalfa pellets in the winter when pasture is not so green.
The more I hear about the legbars the more I like them. I'm looking forward to eventual cross breds with my americanas. I will have to wait till spring to get hatching eggs. I do not have an incubator, just heat lamp for chick's.
Sounds like a rooster teenager.
