    Kit losing fur- not mites

That could be it then. Since BB seems healthy otherwise. I’ll ask the vet about it when I talk with her again. I guess she’s consulting a dermatologist about BB to see if they can figure out what it might be.

    Naked baby bunny- not mites

Thank you for replying to both. I didn’t use chicken wire in the run actually. I used HC and plastic coated dog fencing. But the dog fencing they can’t get to because its covered in HC. This is their enclosure. The snow here wrecked the roof. The metal gate was meant to keep the babies inside...

    Kit losing fur- not mites

The pellets are new. We just bought the bag from TSC. If it was nutritional would the other kits have it as well? This is interesting. I’m not sure of the genes at all. We bought the rabbits from someone who breeds them for meat and pets. But he bred random rabbits. He didn’t really know the...

    Naked baby bunny- not mites

This is BB. She is four weeks old. She has had hair loss since she was three weeks old and she’s the runt. Her parents are brother sister and this is their second litter. On accident. She has seen the vet and the vet says she looks normal. Except the hair loss. Her hair was not pulled out. It...

Thank you. These rabbits are pet rabbits but getting meat rabbits sounds like a good idea when I move. Where I am currently I don’t have enough room to set up properly for meat rabbits. I’d like to be more self sufficient and definitely off the grid the way things have been going.

    New here

I’m here from BYC. I would like to own a cow or two in the future and my husband wants to get goats when we move. But currently I own two rabbits and a bunch of surprise kits. I’m here to seek advice about one of these babies in particular. I will start a new thread about it but just wanted to...
