Her udder is pretty full looking to me. That is usually my clue that it's gonna happen between 12-24 hours. Of course mind never "blow up" until they are that close to kidding. Sounds like your girl is a rascal.

American and PB Nubian are not really THAT different. There really shouldn't be any predjudice about them. American Nubian's came into place when there weren't enough PB in America to keep the breed going without terrible inbreeding so they had to use another dairy breed to get new lines...

So this is Zander. He is Great Pyr crossed with Springer Spaniel. He isn't much of a bird dog as he lets chickens eat out of his bowl and the worst he does is bark. He does try to "herd" them some. He is super hyper though but I think he may do well with herds. What do you think? He is one year...

Feel sorry for all those poor goats :( So sad.

I am constantly checking my heat lamps when they are in use. Making sure the wood around them isn't hot, hay hasn't gotten near...it always worries me. I think in the future I may go with those heating pads. I've read they are much safer.
