Tipsy was passed out, then suddenly noticed me takin pics. It's crazy how they try to hide under their kits.
None of the rest of these are posed, just wanted pics of them in general.
$45 in the red. Lost 3 lambs, unfortunately, so their sale is going into the rabbit fund. 180
Currently $135 in the green.
Sugar had her kits on the 16th. 1 was lost.
Expensive doe, hasn't grown any at all, but I guess is posing better, sort of. Shoving forward a ton.
Someone was happy with the move.
Also moved the horses, so the other pasture will grow back in. Lgd let back in that area.
Gotta better secure the original 4 acres pastures. Don't want another escaped and dead dog...
this one has hot wire top and bottom.
Kauri, stillwantingon her.
3 ewes let out of jugs to barn.
Barn ewes from before were let out to barnyard. Today, those and the older barnyard ones moved together in with the backyard ewes, and then all into both sideyards.
And the yearlings and expecting ewes.
Haha, not really. There's purists who only want white and some of those only want white with only white in the lines. Then some like black, but they get mad when some go grey. And others like spots, but get mad when it's not loud enough and then they find out that the black areas go grey and the...
Clefairy wasn't done! Had a second, a ram, 8.04#!
Both are real hairy! Ewe has white on head and tip of tail, she can't hold her head up that well, so bottle fed. Probably from being stuck for awhile during birth. Ram looks to be solid black.
The other twins, ram is still holding his leg up...
Clefairy Γ Magnemite
Huge single ewe, slight spot markings.
11.25#! Was able to get her out on her own. See, not a Ross problem! Idk wtf it is, but I hope they're not all big. Never want to have to take to the vet for a csection!
She's able to get up and stumble around, breathing is more normal now. But not nursing much on her own, probably because it's hard to keep up with a moving target when your side hurts. Got her on mom a few times, then milked into bottle to make sure she's eating.
Ugh. Another pointlessly huge lamb from a small ewe!! Wtf. Worse, it came breech, cord cut and ribs broken on one side. Fml. Delayed breathing, trouble standing. Milked mom and fed her, helped stand a few times. 10.12#
Ragamuffin Γ Ross.
He's 9.99#. Mom is pretty small, so that's a big lamb, but big for regular ewes, too.
And I was wrong, he also has agouti markings on the face! Too bad he's a ram, won't keep him.
More bad news. One of Sugar's rams is sickly. Will euth tonight if no improvement. I hate this year. And the wind...
