She's still up and alert, still eating fine. It's definitely runny, looks like liquefied goat poo, so no color change from normal. I haven'r smelled it close, but I have not noticed a strong odor (and we were in the barn with the other doe kidding for several hours last night, so I think I...
Mama goat kidded yesterday, started with loose poops this morning. I know for sure she ate her placenta. Let her be? Give her something to firm it up? Advice?
Oh Jodie, how awful! I am so sorry about the doeling, but good job with the quick thinking and getting the rest moved when you did. What a long night! Thoughts/prayers for energy and refreshment as you face the next few days of cleanup and figuring out what next.
Birdie had a single buck, he is 4.1 lbs! Very glad we were there, as even with both dh and I working on her, I wasn't sure we could get him out. Everyone ended up okay, and he is quite perky already. Pictures later
Dutch had twin bucks yesterday (very colorful, healthy, nearly missed that birth too), and Birdie has no ligs and is in labor today. She is on 30 minute check ins, to try and get a little more warning today. Good grief these three are being sneaky!
Dutch also managed to nearly have them...

Pilly had twins, girl and boy. I had been checking on her every 45min-hour all day long, checked her at 3:15, and she was contracting some, but no goo, no pawing, etc. On the phone with my mom at 3:45, heard hollering, threw on barn boots, ran out there and saw the other girls all lined up...
Pilly has no ligaments as of a little while ago. No other "labor" signs yet, so I will be checking in on her every hour or so, but not sitting with her yet. Her udder did just about double yesterday, and she is so poofy in her back end that if she held on much longer, that area was gonna need...
Looks like Pilly may win the race! She has no ligaments as of about 40 minutes ago (could have lost them earlier, that was her first check of the day), so babies today/tonight I would guess. I would also not be surprised if she goes, that Dutch will too, hormones and all that, you know...
