    We had triplets last Saturday and Miracle is doing great after the first couple of days where we did not think she would survive.. Mom is not making enough milk for 3 kids though... I'm wondering if I can add some baby formula to the milk I get from mom or if it would just be better to add...

    We have Pigs!!

    I got home this morning from a marathon 1700+ mile trip to pick up my Large Black Piglets... I got two gilts that are almost 3 months old. And a boar & barrow that are just over 5 months old from a different breeder.. Now if I just had the barn finished so we could move them out to the farm!!

    Oat or Alfalfa hay?

    I am just getting ready to buy hay for the winter for my Nubians... Can get either alfalfa or oat hay... Is there an advantage to one over the other? Would a mix be best? Still learning on these 4 legged critters what is best... Thanks in advance for the advice!!
