My 40 yr old waffle maker with the plates turned over to the flat side.
Not bad for the 1st time I tried it..top sirloin.
Came out great. nice & juicy and flavorful but 4 minutes is bit too long for med rare.
Tomorrow I will do ribeyes.

I have found myself on this board only, typing a reply, and suddenly the place cursor is gone and the letters I type no longer show up. I have to manually reinstate place cursor with my mouse and begin typing again.

(I had it happen back on one of my father's Palominos around 2001 and it wasn't as funny as the horses make it out to be..that was when I told Dad he'd have to find a younger fella to break his horses.)
I don't usually go to them, but this one is nearby and has a cafe there that is home to Chicken Fried Bacon so I believe we will go, listen to some music, and perhaps sample some chili since they have Rule #2 in effect.
