You need to more so worry about ravens a previously said. I have a flock take down a injured ewe, with ravens they go for the eyes once they are gone the animal is done...its always a good idea to have a shotgun in the barn if you have ravens around.
If you can get a fall bear thats eaten corn all summer its the best eating there is hands down! Also when you cook cougar it smells like dead cats...but tastes very good.
